I know this question is about a decade too late. I’m working on my playback issue separately (see last month’s message), but now I’m also looking for a way to record. I’ve come across the info that Pro Tools version 5.0.1 was released for free (unsupported) for Mac OS 8.6 and 9.2.2. However, all of the official download links are long dead. Google isn’t helping me either. Anybody know where to find this software?
